چکیده
We use the quantum Langevin equation as a starting point to study response function, position–velocity correlation function and velocity autocorrelation of charged Brownian particle in presence magnetic field linearly coupled heat bath via position coordinate. two models – Ohmic model Drude make detailed comparison various time–temperature regimes. For both models, there is competition between cyclotron frequency viscous damping rate giving rise transition from an oscillatory monotonic behaviour increased. In zero fluctuation dominated low-temperature regime, non-trivial noise correlations lead some interesting features this transition. role memory time-scale which comes into play effect additional time-scale. discuss experimental implications our analysis context experiments cold ions.

a contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals
writing an academic article requires the researchers to provide support for their works by learning how to cite the works of others. various studies regarding the analysis of citation in m.a theses have been done, while little work has been done on comparison of citations among elt scopus journal articles, and so the dearth of research in this area demands for further investigation into citatio...
Motion of a charged particle in a magnetic field
Hitherto, we have focussed on applications of quantum mechanics to free particles or particles confined by scalar potentials. In the following, we will address the influence of a magnetic field on a charged particle. Classically, the force on a charged particle in an electric and magnetic field is specified by the Lorentz force law: Hendrik Antoon Lorentz 18531928 A Dutch physicist who shared t...
متن کاملVelocity and stress autocorrelation decay in isothermal dissipative particle dynamics.
The velocity and stress autocorrelation decay in a dissipative particle dynamics ideal fluid model is analyzed in this paper. The autocorrelation functions are calculated at three different friction parameters and three different time steps using the well-known Groot/Warren algorithm and newer algorithms including self-consistent leap-frog, self-consistent velocity Verlet and Shardlow first and...

متن کاملClassical Langevin dynamics of a charged particle moving on a sphere and diamagnetism: A surprise
It is generally known that the orbital diamagnetism of a classical system of charged particles in thermal equilibrium is identically zero – the Bohr-van Leeuwen theorem. Physically, this null result derives from the exact cancellation of the orbital diamagnetic moment associated with the complete cyclotron orbits of the charged particles by the paramagnetic moment subtended by the incomplete or...
